Georgia WAND is known for its innovation, ground-breaking achievements, and effective leadership. Dr. Helen Caldicott, who, in 1982, founded WAND and began building a movement to advance U.S. nuclear disarmament, exemplifies these traits. We are thrilled that Dr. Caldicott will be our Keynote Speaker! She will be joined in conversation with Georgia WAND Executive Director, Lindsay Harper. And we will honor the 2019 Mother’s Day for Peace Awardees!
